The SC-423C QSC home theater speaker is a Full range 3-way, selectable bi-or tri-amplified, behind the screen speaker.
The SC-423C comes equipped with two main units—the MH-1075C mid-high frequency Horn-loaded system and the LF-4215, a high power low-frequency driver system from Digital cinema speaker line up of QSC.
The MH-1075C mid-high system is a spectacular speaker system featuring horn-loaded 10” midrange cone driver and a 3” titanium compression HF driver with high-efficiency ratings. The Horn units, mounted to a speaker bracket with adjustable pan and tilt offer extraordinary power and detail.
With a passive crossover in place, The MH-1075C can be bi-amplified and includes a protection network system for the drivers. The SC-423C QSC home theater speaker’ much-acclaimed Power limiter circuitry protects the HF horn driver from overpowering.
Mid-range is the most critical element in a movie soundtrack, gets its due and the MH-1075C provides extended frequency coverage for the same. The 10” horn driver delivers exceptional sound and offers crystal-clear low mid-range down to 250 Hz.
By design, The crossover point for the high-frequency horn is at 1800 Hz, aided by the advanced phase plug designed by QSC engineers. This design ensures that most of the critical dialogue range is taken care of by a single unit, delivering unbeatable clarity.
Cinema applications generally need extended LF response, The SC-423C QSC home theater speaker’ LF-4215 with dual 15” (381mm) low-frequency enclosure boxes offer hard-hitting bass.
The LF-4215 has a frequency range of 35 Hz to 250 Hz. Built around Close Coupled Woofers (CCW) architecture, the LF-4215 with carefully calculated spacing between the LF drivers helps get better coupling and coverage compared to more widely spaced speaker designs.
The entire SC-423C QSC home theater speaker is an “installer-friendly speaker system”. Just 3 bolts are required to fix the MH-1075C to the top of the LF-4215 low-frequency enclosure.
